The fifth and final race of the Swiss Championships took place on September 6-7 in Geneva. It rained the entire day on Saturday, so in view of the good forecast for Sunday, training was dropped.

It was still drizzling on Sunday morning and the track was a little wet, but after a training session, the track dried, the sun came out and the qualifiers got underway.

Qualification
The quickest drivers were taken from three qualifying races. Mario Rigert and Sacha Lnenicka were the fastest; securing first and second place in the starting grid. Ronny Lnenicka drove the fourth quickest time.

Final
Sacha Lnenicka won the first final following a tense battle with Mario Rigert. Mario Rigert then won the second final in front of Sacha Lnenicka, which secured his position as the 2008 Swiss Champion. Congratulations to Mario! In the third final, Sacha Lnenicka overtook race leader Mario Rigert on the last corner before the finish line, making him the victor of the day. Ronny Lnenicka crashed and suffered technical problems with his motor, which put him back in eighth place.
